Police in Glasgow have released CCTV images of a man they would like to trace in connection with an attack in the city centre.

The unprovoked assault left the 35-year-old male victim needing hospital treatment for a broken cheekbone, police said.

It happened outside the Alexandra Bar in the city's Duke Street, at about 00:05 on Monday 30 August.

Detectives have appealed to anyone who recognises the man to contact them.
