Two men in court over 750k cannabis farm in Kirkintilloch

Two men have appeared in court charged in connection with a £750,000 cannabis seizure in East Dunbartonshire.

Plants were found at a building on the Woodilee industrial estate in Kirkintilloch on Thursday, after a tip-off from a member of the public.

Gong Ping Shi, 39, and Gou Qiang Lin, 40, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court charged with producing a controlled drug.

The men made no plea or declaration and were remanded in custody.

They will appear in court again later this month.
