James McCarron and Francis Coates face trial over John Finnegan shooting murder
Two men accused of murdering a man who was shot in an East Renfrewshire village are to go on trial in November.
John Finnegan, 48, died in hospital after being shot in the face in Bank Street, Neilston, on 27 October 2011.
James McCarron, 33, from Shropshire, and 35-year-old Francis Coates, who is described as a prisoner in Greenock jail, deny murdering Mr Finnegan.
Both accused also denied firearms charges when the appeared at the High Court in Glasgow.
