'Oldest' post office hits 300


On the face of it, the former Dumfriesshire mining town of Sanquhar does not have much in common with either the Swedish capital Stockholm or Santiago in Chile. But they are the locations of the three oldest post offices in the world - with Sanquhar, remarkably, the daddy of them all.
