Man, 62, held over fatal Glasgow stabbing

Everard Drive Police are investigating how the 32-year-old died

A 62-year-old man has been arrested by Strathclyde Police following a fatal stabbing early on Saturday.

It took place in the Springburn area of Glasgow.

Officers were called to a disturbance in a house on Everard Drive, close to Ashgill Road in the north of the city, at about 03:15.

A 32-year-old man died of injuries sustained during the incident. Police confirmed the 62-year-old had been detained in connection with the death.
