A 37-year-old man has died after falling through ice at a loch in East Dunbartonshire.
Emergency services were called to the Gadloch, near Lenzie, about 17:00, with divers and a police helicopter helping to search for the man.
His body was recovered about 19:30, Strathclyde Police said.
The force also revealed that the man had been trying to rescue his dog which also died.
