Cannabis worth £1.8m found in minibus on M74

Cannabis with a street value of about £1.8m has been found in a minibus travelling along the M74 in South Lanarkshire.

Police stopped the Ford Transit minibus at the Wellburn interchange near Lesmahagow at about 18:50 on Tuesday.

A spokesman for Strathclyde Police said the two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, and a 30-year-old man have been arrested.

They are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
