Police name man who died after Bellshill incident

A 21-year-old man who died following an incident in Bellshill in North Lanarkshire at the weekend has been named by police.

Mark Shaw, from Coatbridge, was found injured following an incident in Mary Rae Road in the town shortly after 06:00 on Sunday.

He was taken to Monklands General Hospital where he later died.

Police have said that a 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
