Staff in shock after knifepoint robbery

Staff at a shop in Milngavie have been left shaken after an armed robbery in broad daylight.

A man with a knife made off with a three figure sum after demanding the money from workers at the Mini Market store in the town's Strathblane Road.

The suspect, aged between 18 and 25, had been at a bus stop across from the shop before the robbery took place at about 1430 BST on Friday.

He was wearing a navy waterproof jacket with the hood up.
