Pink bra riders get on their bikes for cancer charity

The bikers set off from Kilmarnock and will finish up in George Square in Glasgow on Monday

About 120 bikers wearing pink bras and vests have set off on a four-day ride around Scotland.

The group of men and women are taking part in the 450-mile tour to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The bike ride, departing from Kilmarknock and first organised in 2008, has now become an annual event.

It is run by Breast Way Round, a group set up by local woman Shirley Ann Barnes after she lost close friends to cancer.

Among this year's riders is 56-year-old Carolyn Falconer who is terminally ill with ovarian cancer.

The bikers will travel through Oban, Fort William, Inverness and Aviemore, and will finish up in George Square in Glasgow on Monday.

They hope to raise more than £60,000.
