Man dies after Luss house blaze

A 68-year-old man has died following a fire at a bungalow in Luss on the west bank of Loch Lomond in Argyll and Bute.

Fire crews were called to reports of a blaze in the property in Murray Place at about 1030 GMT on Tuesday.

The fire was extinguished and the man's body was found inside.

The cause of the fire is being probed but is not being treated as suspicious. A total of five people have now died in fires in Scotland this new year - with six deaths in total since Christmas.
