Three men arrested over Dumbarton amphetamine haul

Three men have been arrested after amphetamines with an estimated street value of £250,000 were found at a flat in West Dunbartonshire.

Officers from Strathclyde Police, acting under warrant, searched the property in Greenhead Road, Dumbarton, at about 1530 BST on Wednesday.

They seized about 25kg of amphetamines and detained three men - two aged 18 and one aged 28

The men are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
