A £90m development of the Craighouse site in Edinburgh has been approved by councillors.

It will see 145 homes built on the site; 64 in the current listed buildings and 81 in new builds.

The vote was passed with nine in favour and six against. Plans to build housing on the old Edinburgh Napier University campus were first submitted in 2011.

Since then the plans have been changed twice and some people have campaigned against the development.
