Virgin Atlantic plane makes emergency landing at Edinburgh

A Virgin Atlantic Little Red passenger aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Edinburgh Airport after suffering a loss of cabin pressure shortly after take-off.

The incident was declared over just before 18:00, after the London-bound flight turned around and landed safely.

The Airbus A320, Operated by Aer Lingus, was then checked by engineers.

Edinburgh Airport later said the incident caused no disruption to services.
