Man falls 50ft at Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh

Salisbury Crags Emergency services were called at 21:30 on Tuesday to the Radical Road below the huge cliff

A man is in hospital with head and neck injuries after falling 50ft from Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called at 21:30 on Tuesday to the Radical Road below the huge cliff.

The Scottish Fire and rescue Service used a line rescue and carried the man to an ambulance in the park.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary before being transferred to the Western General Hospital.
