Police investigating an armed robbery at a post office in Edinburgh have released CCTV footage of two men they want to trace.

The men produced a knife before robbing a customer of a three-figure sum at the store in the Drumbrae area of the city.

They then fled the Duart Crescent store and made off towards Dochart Drive.

Police are also keen to find a red Vauxhaul Corsa which they believe may have been used in the robbery on Thursday 20 February.

PC Richard Emerson said: "This has been a frightening experience for the customer as well as the staff in the post office.

"We are particularly interested in a red three-door Vauxhall Corsa, which we believe is relevant to our ongoing investigation.

"Anyone who can help us trace this vehicle or the men pictured in the CCTV footage is asked to contact police immediately."
