Toddler falls from flat window in Fife

A 19-month-old girl was taken to hospital after falling from a first-floor window in Fife.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Whitelaw Crescent, Dunfermline, at about 16:00 on Tuesday.

The toddler suffered cuts to her head after falling onto stones.

She was conscious and breathing after the incident. The girl was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment, where she remained on Wednesday morning.
