Detectives are investigating the death of a two-year-old girl in Fife.

Officers were called to a house in Croftangry Road in Kelty at about 18:30 on Sunday night after reports of "concern for a child".

The toddler, named locally as Madison Horn, was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy but was later pronounced dead.

Police Scotland said they were treating the death as "suspicious" and were following a positive line of inquiry.
