Fire breaks out at St Andrew square offices

Dozens of firefighters have been dealing with a blaze at an office block in the heart of Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called to the St Andrew Square area after being alerted to the fire at about 10:30.

It is understood there are no reports of any casualties.

About 30 firefighters were sent to the scene, in Thistle Street Lane. Ambulance staff were also there. Traffic restrictions were put in place at North and South St David Street.

The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed it also attended the scene and had been liaising with the other emergency services.
