Biker in hospital after crash with car in Edinburgh

A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital following a crash with a car in Edinburgh.

The incident happened at 13:41 on Craiglockhart Avenue, at the junction of Colinton Road and Glenlockhart.

The road was closed just before 14:00 for a police investigation.

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses to the crash which involved a Suzuki motorbike and a green Ford Ka.
