Crash on M90 in Dunfermline leaves two cars on roofs

Two cars ended up on their roofs after a serious crash in Dunfermline.

The crash, involving a black BMW X3 and a blue Dacia Duster, happened on the southbound carriageway of the M90 Edinburgh to Perth road, near Junction 2, at about 15:10 on Saturday.

A 61-year-old woman suffered a fractured sternum and another woman, 69, was left with a broken ankle.

Police want to trace the driver of a silver 4x4, which was also going south, who may have seen the crash.

They also urged any other witnesses to come forward.
