Woman arrested over man's murder in Fife house

Melrose Crescent, Kirkcaldy Police were called to Melrose Crescent in the early hours of Tuesday morning

A woman has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 48-year-old man following a stabbing in a Fife house.

The 28-year-old woman was detained at the scene by police following a disturbance at 03:25 at a property in Melrose Crescent, Kirkcaldy, on Tuesday.

She is expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court later.
