Woman dies in house fire at Kilrenny Caravan Park
A woman has died in a fire at a house at a Fife caravan park.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire at Kilrenny Mill Caravan Park, near Kilrenny, at about 06:30 on Saturday.
More than 35 firefighters tackled a "well developed" blaze in a house at the site.
The woman's body was found after fire crews searched the property. An elderly man was treated for smoke inhalation by ambulance staff.
An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.
A fire service spokeswoman said: "The tragic loss of life must always bring home the importance of working together to prevent fires and raise awareness of how to be safer from the risk of fire in the home."
