Man traps hand in Kobusch factory machine

A 57-year-old man has been taken to hospital with severe injuries after trapping his hand in machinery at a factory in West Lothian.

The accident happened at the Kobusch UK packaging company at the Brucefield Industrial Estate, Livingston, at about 14:25 on Saturday.

Workplace engineers released the man's hand by putting the machine into reverse.

He was given medication by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
