Rescue bid after scaffolding fall in Victoria Terrace in Edinburgh

A teenager has sustained leg injuries after falling on scaffolding in Edinburgh.

The 17-year-old fell at about 11:05 and firefighters are still at the scene using a rope rescue to lower him to the ground.

The incident occurred at Victoria Terrace in the city centre.

It is understood the male teenager will be taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
