Man arrested over Edinburgh car park robberies

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged robberies from people who posted electronics items for sale online.

Three people allegedly had items stolen in separate incidents at a McDonald's restaurant car park in Telford Road, Edinburgh, after arranging to meet a "buyer".

The items were all understood to have been listed on the Gumtree website.

The arrested man is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
