Motorist killed in Fife road crash on the A916

A motorist has been killed and another injured in a crash on a Fife road.

The crash, involving a car and a heavy goods vehicle, happened on the A916 road near Craigrothie at about 11:30.

The police have closed the road between Union Farm on the C59 Craigrothie to Kennoway road.

Fife Constabulary spokesman said: "Weather conditions are very poor in the area at present."
