Third man in court over Edinburgh Rox jewellery raid

A third man has appeared in court in connection with a robbery at an Edinburgh jeweller.

Aldaire Warmington appeared in private at the city's sheriff court charged with robbing the Rox shop on 15 January.

The 26-year-old, from Salford, near Manchester, made no plea or declaration.

Sheriff Isabella McColl remanded Mr Warmington in custody. He is due to appear in court again next week.

On Friday, Lincoln Warmington, 26, and Elliot Jorgensen, 25, were also remanded in custody after making no plea or declaration to the same charge at a hearing before Sheriff Donald Corke.

After the raid, it was reported £1m of goods were stolen.
