Edinburgh jewellery robbery accused appear in court

Two men have appeared in court in connection with a robbery at an Edinburgh jeweller.

Lincoln Warmington, 26, and Elliot Jorgensen, 25, appeared in private at the city's sheriff court charged with robbing the Rox shop on 15 January.

The pair, from Salford in Greater Manchester, made no plea or declaration and were remanded in custody.

About £1m of diamond necklaces, rings and watches were reported to have been taken from the George Street jeweller.
