Two in hospital after Fife crashes
A pedestrian is in a serious condition in hospital after she was hit by a car in Fife.
The 67-year-old woman was knocked down on the A955 Scoonie Road in Leven near its junction with the Scoonie Roundabout at 16:55 on Tuesday.
The woman is being treated in the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Meanwhile a 53-year-old motorcyclist has serious injuries after colliding with a car on the A92 New Inn to Glenrothes Road in Fife.
The motorcyclist was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following the crash on Tuesday at 19:45.
The colllision involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa turning right into Western Avenue at the Balfarg junction and a blue BMW motorbike.
Fife Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to both incidents.
