Police in North Berwick investigate street death

A man has died after sustaining head injuries in a street in North Berwick, East Lothian.

An area of Bank Street, at its junction with Westgate close to the town's High Street, has been closed.

Officers from Lothian and Borders Police were called to the scene at about 07:45 on Sunday. Investigations continued throughout the day.

The police have not released details of the man's identity but said his death is being treated as "unexplained".
