Four arrested after drugs raids in Dalkeith

Four men have been arrested in connection with drugs seized during a series of police raids in Midlothian.

Officers searched a number of addresses in the Woodburn area of Dalkeith on Friday and recovered quantities of cannabis and valium tablets.

The men - two aged 20 and the others aged 21 and 38 - were charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

They are expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.

Lothian and Borders Police said a number of potentially stolen goods were also seized from the properties pending further police inquiries.
