A window on the building was blown out
Two men aged 39 and 60 have been taken to hospital following a fire at a bed and breakfast in Edinburgh.
Neighbours and passers-by reported a small explosion at the property, which is understood to provide homeless accommodation, in the city's Longstone Road at about 20:30 on Wednesday.
Fire crews arrived to find a window blown out.
The younger man was said to be suffering from serious burn injuries. The 60-year-old was not badly hurt.
The fire was contained within a single bedroom in the property.
