Police arrest two women after body found in Aberdeen

Two women have been arrested in connection with the death of a 38-year-old woman in a flat in Aberdeen.

Police said the death of the woman, named locally as Amanda Leiper, is still being treated as "unexplained."

Her body was found in the top floor flat of the property, on Park Road, early on Wednesday morning.

Det Ch Insp Martin Dunn thanked the public for their help but appealed to anyone with any information who has yet to come forward to contact them.
