Man held after £75,000 cannabis haul in Thornton

A man has been arrested after a cannabis plantation with an estimated street value of £75,000 was discovered in a police raid on a house in Fife.

Fife Constabulary seized the drugs in a raid on the property in Thornton, near Glenrothes.

A 21-year-old man from Lochgelly has been arrested and is due to appear at court in Kirkcaldy on Monday.

The seizure takes the total value of drugs seized by the force to £435,000 in the past 10 days.
