A 48-year-old man has died after his car was involved in a crash with a lorry on a West Lothian road.
The crash between a Mercedes and an articulated lorry happened on the A8016 near East Whitburn at about 11:20.
A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said investigations were under way to establish the cause of the crash.
Officers appealed for anyone who had witnessed the accident to contact the police.
