Driver arrested over cyclist Audrey Fyfe's death

A driver has been arrested in connection with the death of a 74-year-old cyclist in Edinburgh.

Audrey Fyfe died after her bike was involved in a collision with a car at the junction of Portobello Road and Craigentinny Avenue on 9 August.

The 47-year-old man has been charged by police with causing death by driving his silver Vauxhall Vectra without due care and attention.

He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later.
