A motorcyclist has suffered serious multiple injuries after hitting a lamppost in Glenrothes.
The 26-year-old was taken to hospital where his condition was described as life-threatening.
The crash happened in Roxburgh Road in the town, near Lothian Court, at about 15:20.
Fife Constabulary said no other person or vehicle was involved in the crash and officers appealed for any witnesses to contact the police.
