Woman charged over dog attack on girl in North Berwick

Glenburn Street The girl was attacked in the garden of a house in Glenburn Road on Saturday

A 55-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a dog attack in East Lothian which left a toddler with bite injuries to her face.

The two-year-old girl was treated at The Royal Hospital for Sick Children after being bitten in North Berwick.

The incident happened on Saturday when the toddler was in the garden of a house on Glenburn Road.

The woman who has been charged is due to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court at a later date.
