Nicola Sturgeon makes loom band promise to 'little boy'

15 August 2014 Last updated at 12:46 BST

Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has promised a "little boy" who gave her a loom band that she would keep it on until the end of the Scottish independence referendum.

The blue and white "saltire" bracelet was spotted by BBC Scotland political correspondent Glenn Campbell, who asked the SNP politician where she had got it from.

She said: "A little boy gave it to me on Monday and made me promise to wear it from now until the referendum - so I'll have to do it."
