Lynsey Sharp beats illness to win silver

1 August 2014 Last updated at 21:49 BST

Lynsey Sharp reveals she was ill overnight before racing to silver in the 800m: "I go out there and I train and I do it in training so why can't I come out here and execute it perfectly every time.

"That's why I was so annoyed yesterday because I didn't do that and I had 24 hours to get it right and thankfully I did".

She told BBC One that she had been ill in the Athletes' Village at 05:30 in the morning.

Eunice Sum took gold in the women's 800m in Hampden Park.
