The weather forecast that changed D-Day

1 May 2014 Last updated at 14:11 BST

A play telling the story of a weather forecaster credited with saving the lives of thousands of soldiers during World War Two is set to open.

Group Captain James Stagg advised General Eisenhower to delay the launch of the D-Day landings by 24 hours.

Pressure has been written by, and stars, actor David Haig. BBC Scotland's Cameron Buttle has been to meet him.
