New figures show the National Museum of Scotland, in Edinburgh, is the most popular attraction in the UK outside London.

Although visitor numbers fell by 7% on the previous year, more than 1,760,000 visitors went through the doors last year.

Glencoe, Edinburgh Castle and Cullodon battlefield also saw higher visitor numbers.

BBC Scotland's Catriona Renton reports from the museum.
