The stars of Still Game have announced they will bring the comedy to the stage in a four day run at the Hydro in Glasgow next year.

Greg Hemphill and Ford Kiernan, who play Jack and Victor, said they would also look at the possibility of bringing the hit show back to TV screens.

The pair said the opening of the new Hydro venue was a catalyst for getting the original cast back together for a comeback.

Ford said: "It is a bit like 'Oor Wullie', Still Game. He is eternally 10. We seem to be 73 or 74".

Greg said: "There is no reason why at 75 we could not still be playing these characters. If anything it becomes more authentic."
