Grangemouth worker: 'We're out of a job'

23 October 2013 Last updated at 12:45 BST

Workers at Grangemouth have been told that the site's petrochemical plant is to close with the loss of about 800 jobs.

The news was broken to the workforce at the plant and its associated oil refinery at a meeting on Wednesday.

Owner Ineos said a decision on whether to restart the refinery would be taken once the "threat of strike action" had been removed.

Workers leaving the plant have given their reaction to the news.
