Teachers' concern at new curriculum workload

More than 80% of primary and nursery teachers are concerned about their increasing workload according to a new survey by the EIS.

The teaching union says it reveals worries over increased bureaucracy and a lack of confidence in pupils assessment under the new curriculum.

Education Secretary Mike Russell says the Scottish Government is supporting them with resources, funding and time.
