Garden body death 'unexplained'

The death of a woman whose body was found in the communal garden area of tenement flats in Edinburgh is being treated as "unexplained" by police.

A police spokesman said they were investigating after the woman's body was found in the garden of a property in Warrender Park Road in Marchmont.

Police said the woman, who has not been named, was found at 09:00.

They said inquiries were ongoing into the circumstances of the death and they appealed for witnesses to come forward.
