Woman, 22, charged with murder bid

A 22-year-old woman has been charged over the attempted murder of a 49-year-old man in Edinburgh on Thursday, police have said.

Officers said that two more women, aged 53 and 58, and a 30-year-old man, had also been charged in connection with the incident at a house in Duff Street.

Police were called to the property at about 22:20 on Valentine's Day, where the man was found with stab wounds.

All four accused are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
