'Murder' case in Nottinghamshire leads to Scottish police appeal
Police have appealed for information about a man previously from Dunbartonshire who they believe was murdered in North Nottinghamshire.
Three people have been charged with the murder of Alan James Easton after the 50-year-old's body was discovered on Saturday 2 February.
But Nottinghamshire Police are continuing their enquiries.
Mr Easton is thought to have moved recently to Conisborough, South Yorkshire, from Bonhill in Scotland.
DCI Leigh Sanders said: "We know Alan was adopted, although his adopted parents are deceased.
"We are now looking to trace any next of kin or friends that we haven't already spoken to.
"If you knew him, you may be able to help with our enquiries."
