Heavy snowfalls and strong winds cause problems in Scotland

Heavy snowfalls have hit many parts of Scotland, with amber warnings covering the Highlands, Grampian, Strathclyde, Central, Tayside, Fife, south-west Scotland, Lothians and the Borders. A number of schools have closed or are due to shut early - you can find out more details by using the table below.
